RTPF Coils
Tube Diameters are Getting Smaller
Heatcraft® coils are copper-aluminum heat exchangers that are used to transfer heat between air and fluid (refrigerant, water-glycol, or oil) in a wide range of applications. Tailored to specific system design requirements, these coils set the standard for cost-effective heat-transfer.
Refrigerant and refrigerant tubes go “hand in glove.” There is no better fit than copper for most refrigerants. Its high thermal conductivity, superior strength, and excellent corrosion resistance set it apart from any other material. Stainless steel and aluminum tubes exist, but the vast majority of heat exchanger coils and refrigerant distribution lines are made from copper.
